Wilmington’s 4th of July Celebration celebrates Independence Day riverside with music and more followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Enjoy a family-friendly program at Live Oak Bank Pavilion at Riverfront Park usually with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra and more followed by Fireworks that are visible along the almost two-mile-long Riverwalk.
On July 12th, celebrate the oldest 3-bridge 5K or 10K Run or Run/Walk on the east coast! The 10K course crosses over the Memorial Bridge and across two more bridges before finishing on Water Street. There will also be a short loop down Battleship Road where runners will pass in front of the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA and take in the view of downtown Wilmington across the picturesque Cape Fear River.
